In Côte d’Azur, and specifically in Nice there is not too many restaurants we can recommend. If you cannot afford to eat in a palace, there is maybe Keisuke Matsushima. Few gems can be found and I wish to go to try them soon! I have a little place to recommend.
It may look like a tourist trap but it is not. A real ice cream maker in the heart of the old town exists. A visit to Nice cannot be complete without tasting one of their creations.

Paris is becoming more and more interesting about ethnic food. I appreciate to see this happen, and that traditional Brasserie is not the only option anymore. Bululú Arepera is a Venezuelan joint, offering the most famous local sandwich.

What can you get today in a restaurant in exchange of a bill of 10 euros ? Can you eat healthy with this amount or are you forced to go to a fast joint ? As I eat outside almost every day, I am more and more concern about how much I spend for lunch during the day time.I want to focus on places that offer you a decent meal that won’t ruin you in Paris. Forget about the fast-food chain, it is over priced, it is not a secret. We say you get what you pay for, I can demonstrate you can get better for the same price or maybe an additional 2 or 3 euros in the worst case.
This place is mentioned in almost any guide book about Paris. It is maybe one of the oldest restaurant in Paris, it was opened in 1896! More than 115 years before. No need to say that this place became an historic sight, more than a high quality dining place..
