This hidden address is a true gem in Paris and is surely unique. They offer you in a cozy atmosphere and personal welcoming, to come for the breakfast, lunch, brunch a just a coffee or tea break.
The vibe here is different than in other few similar places. You can enjoy a cup of coffee (or tea) just in front the counter. If you are curious, you can go to the basement which offer a unique old cave style room, but it not seems to be in use actually..
Claus makes everything with simplicity but with an elegance I envy for. But.. you disappointed me..
If like me you are a fan olive oil when cooking or just to eat olives, for sure you will appreciate dining here. This place smells like you are directly buried into south of Europe.
The dining room design is original, it consists into four huge wooden tables at each side of the restaurant. A perfect space for meeting friends. Continue reading
Great experience at Rino, this modern restaurant which is highly recommended by the epicurean bloggers from more than two years now. Even they announced recently that their restaurant is going to shutdown in one month, it is still quite serious here. (March 22nd is expected to be the last opening day).
At the time I made my reservation for a Saturday lunch, I immediately felt warmly welcomed, and when I arrived there, the waiters were really nice. Friendly service. Continue reading
Do we needed a Brazilian chef to come to Paris to show us we can have a traditional cuisine which is affordable ? So affordable that you wouldn’t go to eat at Chipotle anymore!
Pario is changing my mind! By the way, the restaurant name is the contraction of Paris and Rio De Janeiro. But the food is purely French. Continue reading
Braisenville simply refers to the wood-fired oven used to prepare some food, like meat. A must-do if you are in the area.
The storefront is kinda discreet, only the shiny restaurant logo may suggest you can find a trendy place here. When you decide to enter, you discover a small and modern industrial like ambiance. Exposed brick wall on the right, white wall with a huge painting on the left side, and a bright and red back! Oranges lamps without doubts warm up the dining room. If you come here without a reservation, don’t hesitate to accept to seat on the counter, there’s always some free seats. Continue reading
Sanukiya is a Japanese restaurant where you can taste Udon in many variation, hot or cold. When temperatures are low, I like to go to this kind of place, it re-warm me instantly!
The menu is large, for my first try, I decided to order the Beef Curry Udon. It is not surprising that the soup is thick. Udon where a little bit uncooked in the center, you can feel the flour. Except this little thing, the soup is nice and full of filling. Continue reading
Here is another Food-Truck which decided to offer their food at a restaurant, another post about burgers (it is becoming so popular in Paris actually). After the incredible success of Cantine California, it is not surprising that they moved from the streets to a real kitchen.
In the menu: the same recipes! You get the same items as if you line up in front the truck. Tacos are also prepared here. There is only one thing that change.. the prices! Continue reading
If you loved Le Camion Qui Fume and their great burgers, you probably heard about Freddie’s Deli.
I was super enthusiast about trying the new restaurant created by the succesful chef of the truck. The idea is great, bringing to France the best sandwiches made in the East-Coast. Pastrami, Ros-beef, Philly cheese-steak… the classics are all offered here. Continue reading
