Le Temps Des Olivades – Paris, FRANCE – A smell of south

If like me you are a fan olive oil when cooking or just to eat olives, for sure you will appreciate dining here. This place smells like you are directly buried into south of Europe.

The dining room design is original, it consists into four huge wooden tables at each side of the restaurant. A perfect space for meeting friends.

Then, my excitement for the food they offer was not ruined when I decided to enter inside. I was surprised about their fair prices. Only few items in the menu, which is renewed frequently. I recommend their salad and sauteed veal or lamb. I particularly loved them, the meat is sauteed with olives. Dessert are home made, and quite good, try to fin a Banana Tarte Tatin in Paris! Chef is really cool, it is possible to talk to him.

Service can be really slow, only one person is available for the customers. Luckily I can take my time when I dine out, but if you are in a hurry, maybe avoid.. The restaurant can be really noisy depending on who are your neighbors.

Another good point, a promotion is available online actually which can makes you save 30% off the bill: http://www.thefork.com/restaurant/le-temps-des-olivades/15888
