This restaurant is an amazing discovery.
The place is has a nice decoration, it is really quiet, but not really an intimate atmosphere. Tables are close to each other’s…
The interesting point is the menu: original and attractive, a culinary mix I really enjoyed. I also appreciated to be able to overlook at the kitchen from my table. It is always nice to see the see the action and what is happening behind the oven.
After you order, a mushroom cream soup was served to me when waiting, really creamy, this made me want to just say Wow, I want more~
I ordered the set menu, the point about this restaurant is that they decided to mix Brazilian and Vietnamese cuisine with French taste. The result: tasty!
As a starter: Mushroom and Foie Gras Wonton. This is for the Japanese taste. It is good, but not crazy.
Then you can order their classic: Tempero Beef. Delicious. The meat is juicy, a bit difficult to chew… So do not talk too before enjoying this plate. That is more Brazilian.
The set menu is quiet a good deal, for 19 euros. You even can choose a dessert, I was craving for a cheese cake. Which did not disappointed me.
The service is really nice. At the same you will feel that they are beginners in operating a restaurant.
Opening times are not really convenient, only opened during lunchtime Monday to Friday, the only chance for you to try this place is to book a table for Friday night if you not available at lunchtime.
Update 1 (2013-10-27): I have been two more times since I wrote the article. The menu change frequently, the chef only buy seasonal products, and also they shop from the local market. Nothing has changed so far, except for the menus: add 1 euro. The set menu is no more available on Friday for the dinner.
Still a highly recommended stop if you are in the area, and it is better if you call in advance.
Update 2 (2014-05-12): I became fan of this restaurant, everyone discovering this place around are happy too. I am also proud of the success of this team, they are top ranked on some famous rating websites or guide. This simple cuisine with perfectly cooked food is really rare for this price.
It is now possible to enjoy the food on Thursdays evening in addition to Fridays. Each first Wednesday of the month, a typical Brazilian dish is made for the dinner: Feijoada. Reservation required.
